Ancient Walrus Tusk Ivory Net Sinker

alrus Tusk Ivory Net Sinker

“Ancient Walrus Tusk Ivory Net Sinker” found in the Norther Bering Sea area, this complete tusk has striking color, the result of minerals in the area that have been absorbed into the tusk over hundreds and hundreds of years. Usually, we would cut the large tusk into smaller pieces; however this one was so pristine and colorful, we chose to have it mounted on a tasteful stand. Something to pass down from generation to generation as this type of ancient walrus tusk ivory get increasingly more difficult to obtain. There just is not more left.
