Color scrimshaw on ancient mammoth tusk ivory by Heidi Robichaud. Vintage Robichaud scrimshaw originally created in 1983. This is from the collection of one of our long time clients who is no longer with us. Incredible detail on every inch of the piece, from the look of age on the woman’s face to the tight weave of the wicker basket. Heidi has done a great job coordinating the color of the scrimshaw to the stand. Mounted on a classic Ken Fredericks stand.
