“Sperm Whale on Large Tooth” created by unknown carver and from the collection of a client who is no longer with us. Large sperm whale’s tooth (439 grams)! Cannot see any signature on the piece. Collector fashioned the base. Two tiny holes drilled into the back side indicate it may have been mounted differently at one time. This tooth probably weighed at least 1 1/2 lbs. before carving. Very large.
