Bald Eagle’s Prey in Sight
$1,250.00
“Bald Eagle’s Prey in Sight” color scrimshaw on large piece of ancient mammoth tusk ivory bark by David Adams. Plunging bald eagle, talons at the ready, has his prey in sight. Chances are he will be successful, judging from the look in his eye as well as the angle of descent. Adams has really worked the eagle’s wings right into the colors of the outer bark. Not many would have the creative capability to recognize this, let alone pull if off successfully. For eagle collectors and wildlife collectors as well, this would occupy a centerpiece in their prized collections. A keeper!
