Arctic Whaler

“Arctic Whaler” color scrimshaw on large whale’s tooth by A. White. From the collection of a client who is no longer with us. Not sure where he acquired this piece, but it is quite well done. Not familiar with the scrimshander, but he did a first rate job on this one. Love the way the rope is used as well as the ice floes on the bottom. Tooth in great condition and weighs in at 285 grams!
