Antler Carving – Great Horned Owl

Antler Carving – Great Horned Owl created by unknown artist, this one has excellent detail throughout. Really like the way the base has been polished to a smooth surface. Nice touch.

These are large, thick-bodied owls with two prominent feathered tufts on the head. The wings are broad and rounded. In flight, the rounded head and short bill combine to create a blunt-headed silhouette.
